An evening of Art and Music with Laura & Bob at Arts Alive in the Morris Graves Museum of Art!

Visit the Morris Graves Museum of Art from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 2nd and spend an evening with Laura & Bobat Arts Alive! Laura Hennings & Bob Ebenstein are excited to bring classic rock, sweet ballads, standard pop songs, and folk songs to the Museum at their first Arts alive Concert as a duo! Laura has performed as a solo artist as well as the co-Founder of two local bands (The Soulful Sidekicks  Topaz) who performed over 300 concerts from Scotia to Orick in the past 17 years. Laura has refined her Sultry Tenor voice singing Jazz Standards, Blues, Classic Rock, Country and Lovely Ballads as well as 3 Leonard Cohen tribute concerts.

Make sure to visit each of the galleries while you’re in the museum Saturday night too! Lay eyes on our continuing exhibitions, Bill Lacy’s “All Creatures”- in the Bettiga Gallery, Jim McVicker’s “25/25” -in the Thonson Gallery, and the MASSIVE installation “30,000 Salmon” in the Rotunda, and our three newly installed exhibitions, Ruth Arietta’s “Narrative Paintings & Fanciful Sculpture”- in the Knight Gallery and Bachrun “LoMele’s Burn Pile/The Andromeda Mirage”- in the Anderson Gallery!!! Jim Lowry is the featured artist in the Humboldt Artist Gallery; come check out his beautiful photographs, prints and cards.
