Cal Poly Humboldt Music Department Performs at the Morris Graves Museum of Art!

Faculty members from the Cal Poly Humboldt Music Department will perform at the Morris Graves Museum of Art on Saturday, November 19th at 2:00pm.

The program will contain music pieces in a variety of styles, showcasing the wide range of talent of the Cal Poly Humboldt Music Department faculty! The performing artists will provide listeners with comprehensive views on all of the chamber music works. Enjoy an afternoon of classical, cross over genres, and chamber music... The program will include “First Rain”- original music and interactive video by composer Brian Post with Garrick Woods on the cello, “Graceful Ghost Rag” by William Bolcom with Cindy Moyer on the violin and Daniela Mineva on the piano, “Potganini Variations for 4 Hands”-  composed and performed by John Chernoff together with Daniela Mineva on the piano, “Troubled Water” by Margaret Bonds also performed by pianist Daniela Mineva, and “Bootleg Hoedown” by Bran Raphael Nabors with Ginny Ryder on the clarinet, Cindy Moyer on the violin, Garrick Woods on the cello and John Chernoff on the piano.

Audience members will have the opportunity to meet the performers after the concert!
