Break winter’s spell by joining the Eureka Symphony for the boldly pictorial “Karelia Overture, op. 10 by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. This will be followed by cellist Peter Kibbe performing a new piece especially composed for him by his father, local composer Michael Kibbe. Felix Mendelssohn’s glorious “Symphony No. 3 in A minor ‘The Scottish’” captures the misty mood of Scotland and concludes the evening.
The concert will be held on March 3 and 4 at 8 p.m.
CHILDREN 12 years of age and under are free with an adult ticket purchase (2 free child tickets per adult).
Rush Tickets ($15 cash only) and student rush tickets ($10 cash only with student I.D.) are sold at the door beginning at 7 p.m. on concert nights.
