These workshops are geared toward intergenerational learning and creating in a museum setting. Discover the MGMA
through fun, educational activities for kids and families!
For everyone from beginners to art experts, Second Saturday Family Arts Day offers diverse opportunities for the whole family to view, understand, and interact with the exhibitions and art on view. On August 12, we will be celebrating the removal of the Klamath River dams. Pulling inspiration from our featured exhibition 30,000 Salmon, participants will be making fish prints and water drop wishes for the river that will be added to the exhibition! Please come and be a part of this historic project! All are invited to explore the exhibition in the
rotunda and then gather for the day’s projects with assistance and guidance from art educator Genevieve Kjesbu. All materials will be supplied.
The Morris Graves Museum of Art, located at 636 F Street, Eureka is open to the public noon-5p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Suggested admission is $5 for adults; $2 for seniors (age 65 and over), military veterans, and students with ID; children 17 and under free.
