General Assembly: Get Involved With AHHA

Event description: Interested in helping unhoused individuals in Humboldt County or want to volunteer with the Care-A-Van? Please join AHHA’s next General Assembly (GA) meeting on October 7th where we will cover two main topics: showers and the village model. Social and snack time is from 11:30 AM to Noon and the General Assembly is from 12-2 PM. Restarting the Care-A-Van showers will be our main focus for the rest of the year along with a capital campaign to raise additional funds to support the showers and associated services. We hope to start the showers by November and would really appreciate your input and idea for what will help keep our community safe, warm and dry in the winter months ahead.
