The Providence St. Joseph Hospital Foundation is pleased to offer their most popular fundraiser virtually on Saturday, June 19th at 6:00 p.m. And admission is FREE!
Laughter is the Best Medicine 4 - The Game Show Edition will offer hilarity and hijinks as local contestants compete in three games shows (Not So Newlyweds, Family Feud - Doctors vs. Nurses, and Humboldt Squares). Humboldt Squares will feature local celebrities such as: radio host Rollin Trehearne, Supervisor Rex Bohn, and Redwood Capital Bank President, John Dalby. Plus a live auction with Senator Mike McGuire.
The handful of live auction super packages promise something for everyone, and range from the “San Francisco Sports Extravaganza” package (including 49er AND Giants tickets), to the “Support Your Local Small Businesses or Retailers” package, worth over $1,000 at local small businesses.
This year’s event proceeds will go towards the hospital’s Centennial Campaign - $25 million by 2025. This comprehensive campaign has five pillars spanning multiple hospital departments and services including: Investing in Primary Care and Improved Access; Optimizing Specialty Care; Leading in Health Career Education & Training; Enhanced Patient and Caregiver Experience; and Supporting Community Healthcare Peace of Mind.
The event starts at 6:00 p.m., but you can register and preview the live auction items beginning at 5:30.
Because the format is virtual, the event is free. We hope you will “log on” and join in on the fun - it’s easy to do! Go to stjoehumboldt.ejoinme.org/lbm4.
