The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission invites you to come to Eureka’s Sequoia Park for the 2023 season of Movies in the Park outdoor movie screenings. This summer will feature a kid’s classic from the 90’s as well as a studio film that shot in various local sites, including Fern Canyon. Can you guess what they are? The first film will be the hit classic, Matilda and will be shown on Saturday, July 22.
The free event starts at 7:00 PM with music provided by Radio Paradise, followed by cartoons, and then the feature film starting at dusk, around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 26 at 3550 W Street in Eureka. The public is encouraged to dress warm and find a place on the lawn for blankets and lawn chairs. Feel free to bring snacks to enjoy while watching the film.
