The Humboldt-Del Norte Film Commission invites you to come to Eureka’s Sequoia Park for the 2023 season of Movies in the Park outdoor movie screenings. This summer will feature a kid’s classic from the 90’s as well as a studio film that shot in various local sites, including Fern Canyon. Can you guess what they are? The second film will be The Lost World: Jurassic Park and will be shown on Saturday, August 12.
The free event starts at 7:00 PM with music provided by Radio Paradise, followed by cartoons, and then the feature film starting at dusk, around 8:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 26 at 3550 W Street in Eureka. The public is encouraged to dress warm and find a place on the lawn for blankets and lawn chairs. Feel free to bring snacks to enjoy while watching the film.
