The U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree

On Friday, October 29th from 4-6 pm the U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree will stop in Eureka at the foot of D Street near Madaket Plaza on its 3,300-mile journey from Six Rivers National Forest to Washington DC. There will be an opportunity for people to meet Smokey the Bear and sign the banner wrapping the 84-foot white fir tree. There will also be music, hot cocoa, cider, cookies, and a Toy for Tots toy drive. We hope to see you there!
