Wind Energy: Winter Concert at Morris Graves Museum of Art

Join us at the Morris Graves Museum of art on December 22nd at 7:30pm for an evening of beautiful sounds with Wind Energy during their Winter Concert! Wind Energy is Humboldt County’s premier woodwind quintet made up of Eureka Symphony musicians. The concert will include a variety of seasonal and non-seasonal chamber music with themes of joy and enlightenment expressed through tone, timbre and surprise cadences. Wind Energy consists of Jill Petricca- flute; Michael Kibbe- oboe; Paul Cummings- clarinet; Anwyn Halliday- horn; and Aaron Lopez- bassoon.

“Our love of music has held us strong; growing and working throughout the past five years.  Wind Energy could not have remained this strong if it were not for the sponsorship of providing rehearsal space by the Morris Graves Museum of Art.  We are delighted to bring repertoire to celebrate the season, and give a taste of what’s to come in 2023.” –Jill Petricca

Don’t miss this wonderful solstice celebration in our beautiful Rotunda with the Wind Energy quintet for their Winter Concert, on December 22nd at 7:30 p.m. Donations are gladly accepted but all are welcome despite their ability to contribute. Funds collected will directly benefit the musicians of Wind Energy and the Morris Graves Museum of Art.
